Hi, I'm Cydney - professional makeup artist, wife, mother, friend, and the person behind Cydney Nicole MUA, now proudly based in Humboldt County, California.

I was born and raised near San Diego, where my passion for makeup started young and only grew stronger through high school. After graduation I committed fully to the craft, attending MUD (Make-Up Designory) in Burbank, California. One of the most respected makeup programs in the industry. My training covers bridal, fashion and glamour makeup, airbrushing, high-definition camera work, special effects, theatrical makeup, and hair design.

Over the past 16 years I've built a career that's taken me from a high-end beauty lounge in West Hollywood to the Red Carpet at the Grammys, Oscars, and Emmys, with work featured in music videos, commercials, and House of Solo Magazine. That experience shaped how I approach every single client, with the same level of care and precision, whether it's a Hollywood shoot or an intimate redwood elopement in Arcata.

I’ve called this stunning corner of Northern California home for 3 years, and I couldn't be happier about it. I serve brides, elopement couples, and anyone with a special occasion across Eureka, Arcata, Fortuna, Ferndale, Trinidad, and beyond.
